A flash knockout is when a boxer KOs his opponent less than a minute into a fight. Mike Tyson (USA) who is a former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, did this nine times in his pro career (1985-2006), against Trent Singleton (USA) in 52 seconds, Ricardo Spain (USA) in 39 seconds, Michael Johnson (USA) in 39 seconds, Robert Colay (USA) in 37 seconds, Sterling Benjamin (Trinidad and Tobago) in 54 seconds, Mark Young (USA) in 50 seconds, Marvis Frazier (USA) in 30 seconds, Lou Savarese (USA) in 38 seconds and Clifford Etienne (USA) in 49 seconds.

Mike Tyson is also the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF titles at 20 years old.
