NBA MOVERS

MAGIC UPGRADE...The New Jersey Nets traded Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson for the Magics Rafer Alston, Tony Battie and Courtney Lee. Which give the Orlando Magic another firepower to play along Howard, Lewis and Turkoglo.

Hmmmm, another scorer in town?? picture this a scoring point guard in Nelson, with Lewis, Hedo, Carter and Howard in the lineup, sharing won't be a problem i hope. Remember Howard complaining of not having to much touches in the playoff. Now with the trade would this help them?. The positive thing i see through this is that compared to Lewis and Hedo, Vince can create his own shot, can split double teams and can slash efficiently through the lane, unlike Lewis and Hedo who are primarily a perimeter player.

NBA MOVERS

Shaq attack is coming to Cleveland, A new dynamic duo? The King and the Diesel are now teammates. The Cleveland made a huge trade in acquiring the 7-1 325 lbs. Shaquille O'neil from the Phoenix Suns. The suns in return get Ben Wallace, Sasha Pavlovic, a 2nd round pick at the 2010 draft and $500,000 cash.

A decision based on experience is what I would say to this trade, the Cavs on the East Finals just have no answer for the Superman Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. With O'neil in town big Z would slide down to a back up center. A good move?? that remains to be seen. Shaq in Phoenix just didn't work out, the suns really are into the up tempo run and gun style, while the Cavs are a half court team that may suite well with O'neil 37 year old legs. But still Shaq is a force to reckon with inside the shaded lane.

NBA MOVERS

Yesterday was a busy one, The spurs traded their old reliable to a young and proven scorer. The San Antonio Spurs get Richard Jefferson from the Milwaukee Bucks for Bruce Bowen and Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto.

I think this trade was inevitable, due to the 1st round exit of the Spurs to the Mavericks, the Spurs at that time are a two man show of Duncan and Parker. They were outmatched in term of firepower and really needed a scorer to help Timmy and Parker. Richard Jefferson is a proven scorer during his years with the Nets and Bucks so scoring wont be a problem for the spurs now, but as we all know the spurs are a defensive minded team, lets see if bringing in a scorer in exchange for two of their good defenders would help the spurs.

TENNIS BEAUTIES

When watching tennis i just cant help myself watching this beautiful, athletic and sexy women. Before i used to admire Anna Kournikova for her beauty but not much on her tennis play( nice serve Anna hehehehe). Then came Maria Sharapova, this 6 foot 2 Russian hotty blew me away, well shes pretty like fellow Russian Anna, but she can play well compared to her compatriot. But during her match in this year's Wimbledon against Viktoriya Kutuzova she struggled, winning a 7-5, 6-4. She trailed Kutuzova 4-1, then 5-3, in the first set. She double-faulted five times in that set alone. When she served for the match at 5-3 in the second, she was broken at love. She faced 10 break points in all. Her surgery on her right shoulder may still be bothering her, this injury forced Sharapova off the tour for the better part of a year. I hope she can get her shape back. Good luck on Wimbledon Maria.

MANNY PACQUIAO'S NEW CHALLENGE

Nope its not Mayweather, its not Cotto , its not Mosley, it's running for congress at the district of Sarangani. Hey i like Manny when it comes to boxing, but i don't think politics will be a good way for him, sure his intentions to help people in that province is pure but i think he should stick to boxing or maybe put up a business related to boxing, put up a boxing gym maybe or be a promoter like the Golden Boy Dela Hoya. His opponent in this new challenge his in is, the Chongbian family. The Chiongbians are known as a political dynasty in Sarangani. The late James L. Chiongbian is considered as the father of the province, having helped pass House Bill 00046 that created Sarangani as a separate province from South Cotabato. Well good luck to you on the 2010 elections Manny, I hope the results wont be the same like the 2007 elections where in you were defeated by re-electionist Darlene Antonino-Custodio, with a margin of more than 60,000 votes.

WIMBLEDON 2009

I have always been a fan of tennis, well during the times of Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf but after that my interest seems to fade,,but that was until now,,My interest is coming back again. Now with the start of the Wimbledon, my eyes is on the number 2 Roger Federer, who for me at first glance look like Quentin Tarantino hahahaha, I would want to see Nadal but i dont think he will be playing at Wimbledon. Roger Federer is a Swiss professional tennis player, and is the current world number 2. Most tennis analyst and critics consider him to be the greatest player of all time. Federer is the 6th player in history to achieve a career Grand Slam .

CONGRATULATIONS LAKERS

Its been a long time since Ive updated my blog, Congratulations to the LA Lakers, the Lakers defeated the Magic 4-1(as if you don't know). Kobe Bryant was the finals( a pick all experts predict at the beginning of the finals)leading all scorers with 30 points. His 4th ring and his 1st ring without the Big Diesel. This was also Coach Phil Jackson's title number 10. Would the Lakers defend it next season?? i dunno but here is a little something to think about,, Phil Jackson previous teams, upon winning its title defended it for 3 times(Chicago Bulls 1990-93, Chicago Bulls 1995-98, LA Lakes 1999-2002)would this Lakers team do the same??
